All North-Jersey Girls Basketball recipients from the NJIC

FIRST TEAM

Julianna Almeida

Saddle River Day

junior, guard/forward

One of North Jersey’s best post-up guards, Almeida led the seven-time Bergen County champions in rebounds and blocked shots. The Navy commit averaged 13 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.2 blocks and will take a career total of 558 points into her fourth varsity season.

Alyssa Craigwell

Secaucus

junior, guard

Secaucus junior guardCraigwell propelled Secaucus to its finest season (29-4), which included the program’s first sectional championship and first trip to the state finals. She led the team in points (20 per game), rebounds (9.0), steals (3.8), blocks (1.0) and 3-pointers (51 total) and already has 1,094 career points.
