FIRST TEAM
400: Jaden Marchan
Leonia junior
A minor injury suffered in the league meet restricted his races (other than the 400) to a few sprints, including a Group 2 bronze medal in the 200. But Marchan repeated as the All-North Jersey 400 pick with a trio of major wins and a silver medal in the SMOC with a personal-best 47.44 – No. 3 in Bergen history and the fastest in 35 years.
Long jump: Joshua Yoon
Cresskill junior
Yoon leapt 22 feet, 2 inches to win the Bergen County championship, and maintained his form all the way through the State Meet of Champions. Yoon took third in the Group 1 long jump, placed 13th at the SMOC and placed 24th at New Balance Outdoor Nationals.
SECOND TEAM
1,600: Tadael Mihret, Rutherford senior
400 IH: Caden DeRosa, Hasbrouck Heights senior
High jump: Lasana Darboe, Ridgefield junior
