Becton coach Dan Balaban is the latest to join the Century Club, registering his 100th career win with Thursday’s 78-60 victory over Wood-Ridge.
“It’s just an amazing feeling,” said Balaban, 35, in his 10th season leading the Wildcats. “I’m so thankful for all of these kids who have worked so hard.”
Senior Cole Thomas and junior Adrian Rozon led Becton (1-3) against Wood-Ridge and combined for 50 points. Junior Jon Palsi, making his season debut after injuring his collarbone during the football season, also played well and had five points.
