Field player: Kenny Arias, Leonia, Sr.
Arias had two hat tricks last week for the Lions. He started the week by scoring Leonia’s only goal in a 3-1 loss to Dwight-Englewood and then netted three goals and an assist in 5-3 win over Bergen Charter and followed that up with all three goals in a big divisional win, 3-2, over Ridgefield for a total of 19 goals and nine assists this year.
Goalkeeper: Spencer Budinich, Rutherford, Sr.
The second time this year Budinich has taken home this honor, the senior keeper was a big part of Rutherford’s 3-0 week, where he posted two shutouts. He made two saves in a 4-0 win over Weehawken, three saves in a 2-1 win over North Arlington and capped things off with four saves in a big 2-0 win over division rival Harrison, which avenged an earlier loss. He has a career-high 63 saves in 14 games for coach John Randazzo this season.
