Park Ridge senior middle
Quite simply, Izzo dominated, leading the state in kills (413) and finishing third in North Jersey in blocks (82). She also proved to be a well-rounded standout for the NJIC Patriot Division champion Owls (20-7) with 123 digs and 48 aces, and she ended with 919 career kills.
Yasemin Ugurlu
Lyndhurst senior outside hitter
The Golden Bears’ finest season since the 1990s was made possible in part by Ugurlu’s contributions all over the court. She was a top attacker with 193 kills, and she led the North 2, Group 2 sectional champs in digs (181) and aces (54), and added 35 assists and 14 blocks.
