Bogota-Ridgefield Park has started its season 2-0 thanks to a pair of bonus-point victories from Carrion. The junior had a second-period pin (2:32) over Garfield’s Mario Mimini in the team’s first dual of the season and followed it up with a 9-1 major decision over St. Mary (Ruth.) freshman Isaias Pitanga. The win over Pitanga gave BRP a 27-26 lead going into the last two bouts before each team forfeited.
