Scarlett Shu, Harrison, Fr.
Shu gets this honor for the second time this season after winning a pair of county titles this past Monday at the Hudson County Meet of Champions. She cruised to wins in the 200 IM (2:16.12) and 500 free (5:30.15), her fastest times of the season in those events.
Mason Garbo, Secaucus
The Patriots registered a season-altering 90-77 win over Lyndhurst on Jan. 15. The victory created separation between the two programs in the NJIC standings, improving Secaucus to 4-3. Lyndhurst is not far behind them at 3-5. Garbo was instrumental in the victory, muscling a trio of race wins, doing so in the medley relay, 50 freestyle, and breaststroke. This season, the freshman has amassed 13 overall race wins across four different events.
