North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Paige Sonzogni, Hasbrouck Heights, Sr.:
Sonzogni finished with 12 points and four rebounds in a win over New Milford, then recorded 18 points, five rebounds and three assists in a win over Wood-Ridge. In a win against Emerson Boro she totaled 11 points and six rebounds, then scored a season-high 30 points in a win over Cliffside Park as Hasbrouck Heights won its fifth-straight game.
Ava Illuzi, Secaucus, Fr.:
The freshman finished with 17 points in a loss to Hanover Park, then added 13 points, three rebounds and two steals in a loss to Rutherford. In a win over Lyndhurst she posted 16 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals.
Janiya Fulmore, Manchester Regional, Sr.:
Fulmore finished with a season-high 24 points and added three rebounds and two steals in a win over Paterson Arts, then recorded 18 points and seven rebounds in a win over Paterson Charter. In a win against Mary Help of Christians she totaled 17 points and six rebounds as Manchester Regional won its fifth-straight game.
