NJIC Volleyball Players of the Week
Ylan Tapper, Garfield, Sr.
Tapper contributed 55 kills, along with 23 digs and 14 service points this week, while also leading Garfield to a 3-1 record. Garfield is currently 6-1 and has been rolling so far this season, and the senior is a big reason why.
Jonathan Canseco, Wood-Ridge, Sr.
Canseco led Wood-Ridge to a 3-0 record this week, and accumulated a stat line of 40 kills, 18 digs, and 15 service points to go along with six aces. Wood-Ridge is 5-2 this season and has won five of its last six matches since its opening day loss.
