After an victory over North Arlington earlier in the week, Garfield has lost two straight matches against Southern and Secaucus. Garfield got off to a hot start to the season, winning its first five matches. Ylan Tapper continues to be one of the most consistent outside hitter’s in the state, and will play a pivotal role in the teams overall success this season.

Harrison continues its scorching start to the season, and has enjoyed a 4-0 week with victories over Bayonne, Becton, Hoboken, and Wood-Ridge. Through nine matches, Harrison has only lost one set, and Alaittim DeLeon who has 65 kills and 16 blocks.
