Defender: Kamila Sancho, Hawthorne, Fr.
Sancho picked up an assist and played good defense in a season-opening 3-0 win over Lodi. She also helped Hawthorne battle through to beat Becton in a one-goal game. Isabella Paz scored the game-winner that day, hitting a shot off an assist from Olivia Passero.
Goalkeeper: Rylee Judge, Pompton Lakes, So.
Judge picked up where she left off last season, making 20 saves in the season-opener against Eastern Christian. The 5-foot-6 keeper then stopped 14 shots in a 2-0 shutout win over Garfield. Judge is one of the best young keepers in North Jersey. She made 266 saves a year ago as a rookie. The shutout against Garfield was the seventh clean sheet of Judge’s career.
