The Wildcats are through to the finals of the Bergen Invitational Tournament – Silver bracket thanks in parts to Zagorski’s exploits. He scored once in a win over Saddle Brook and added two goals and two assists in a win over Secaucus. He capped things off with a goal and an assist against Garfield in the BIT Silver semis.
Goalkeeper: Ephrem Alpar, New Milford, So.
Alpar helped guide New Milford to two big wins last week, both of which came in the BIT Silver tournament. He tied a career high with 15 saves in a 1-0 win over St. Joseph (Mont.) in the BIT Silver quarters and made nine saves in a 2-1 BIT Silver semifinal win over Midland Park.
