John Kennedy, Emerson Boro, Jr., G
Kennedy erupted for a season-high 30 points against Hawthorne Christian on Jan. 23, along with eight boards, four steals, three assists, and two blocks. Kennedy is always good for an impressive stat line as he’s helped lead Emerson to a 14-1 start. He averages 21.3 points this winter behind 10 20-point games and one 30-point effort. He has 743 career points through Jan. 26.
Matt Kennedy, St. Mary (Ruth.), Sr., G
Kennedy continues to be a top shooter in New Jersey, and he further proved that on Jan. 19 against Union Catholic. Pouring in 29 points, Kennedy sank four 3-pointers in the key win. He continued to flex his might on Jan. 23 in a league win over Paterson Charter, nabbing 20 points and six boards. This season, Kennedy has produced 11 20-point games and one 30-point game, averaging 21.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.8 trifectas.
Dylan Stone, Dwight-Englewood, So., G
Stone led the Bulldogs to a pair of key wins this past week over Paterson Charter and Glen Rock. He went for 19 points and seven rebounds/assists apiece against PC, then 13 points, nine assists, and seven boards over GR. Stone has a pair of triple-doubles this winter, and averages 16.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists, and 1.7 steals.
