FIRST TEAM

Aitana Lozano

Lyndhurst/North Arlington senior, 100 pounds

Lozano turned the corner with her first state medal, takings seventh just a year after going winless at regions. She went 25-5 as North Jersey’s lone state qualifier at 100 pounds and is also a two‑time Bergen County finalist.

 

Noelanii Guzman Caban

Elmwood Park freshman, 120 pounds

Guzman Caban broke through in her high school debut by going 38-11 and placing seventh in the state, giving Elmwood Park its fifth medalist in eight years. The North Jersey pins leader this year with 36, Guzman Caban also made a district final.

 

 

Lily Massenzio

St. Mary sophomore, 132 pounds

Massenzio (32-2) returned to the state podium with a sixth‑place finish despite being injured in the semifinals and forfeiting out of her remaining matches. The DePaul transfer picked up district and county titles, and secured her second straight region crown.

 

 

Aryana Osorio

St. Mary sophomore, 185 pounds

Osorio delivered a breakout postseason by storming to the state final with three straight upsets as the No. 10 seed. The Rutherford native went 25‑4 as a county, district and region champion, and became St. Mary’s first state finalist in 20 years.

Jayleen Perez

Lodi/Saddle Brook junior, 235 pounds

It was quite a comeback season for Perez (27-5) after missing all of last year with fractured tibia and fibula. She brought home her first Bergen County title and reached the state blood round.

Kayla Coletta, Mary Help of Christians junior, 107 pounds

Nico Roa, Manchester senior, 132 pounds

Nanette Rodriguez Randall, Leonia/Palisades Park senior, 138 pounds

Leia Lumba, Lyndhurst/North Arlington senior, 145 pounds

 

SECOND TEAM BOYS

Chad McConnell, Pompton Lakes junior, 165 pounds

Gabe Jang, Leonia/Palisades Park senior, 285 pounds
