Andrew Erickson, Rutherford, Sr., P/UTL
Erickson tossed a six-inning perfect game against Butler on April 14, striking out a season-high 13 batters, bringing his ERA to 2.03 with 26 punch-outs in 20 2/3 innings. This past week, Erickson also batted 5-for-9 with four runs scored, four stolen bases, two walks and two RBIs. He is batting 17-for-his-first-30 (.567) with 14 runs and 11 stolen bases.
Sean Spitaleri, Glen Rock, Sr., P/INF
Spitaleri has dominated on both sides of the ball all season. In six combined innings this past week against Hasbrouck Heights and Rutherford, he struck out 12 batters, allowed four hits and surrendered no runs. In 17 total innings this season, Spitaleri has a 0.00 ERA. At the plate this past week, he batted 7-for-11 with five RBIs, three runs and two doubles. He is hitting 20-for-31 (.645) to begin his senior year with 15 RBIs, logging at least one hit in all nine games.
