FIRST TEAM OFFENSE

RB: Mya De Jesus, Harrison

The senior added another dimension to the Blue Tide’s veer/Wing-T hybrid attack, getting a team-high 120 touches and producing 566 rushing yards, 228 receiving yards and 11 total touchdowns. On defense, De Jesus had 70 flag pulls and 6 interceptions (2 for TDs).

FIRST TEAM DEFENSE

DL: Kasandra Rodriguez, Harrison

The junior proved to be a pass-rushing force for the NJIC champions, making 91 flag pulls and an eye-popping 42 sacks, including one for a safety. Rodriguez was the Blue Tide’s leading ground-gainer as well, rushing 85 times for 632 yards and 11 touchdowns.

DB: Angelica Do, Leonia

The senior helped lead the Lions (7-1) to their second straight NJIC North Division title, making 4 interceptions for a defense that allowed just 6.5 points per game. Do doubled as the offense’s top receiver, catching 18 passes for 267 yards and 7 touchdowns.
