NJIC 2026 Season in Review
Player of the Year:
Maks Dmochowski, Lyndhurst
Dmochowski had 562 assists this season and was one of the most important pieces for a Lyndhurst squad that went 17-8, and went to the quarterfinal round of the North Jersey, Group 1 playoffs, where it fell to Harrison, 3-2. Dmochowski finished his career with 62 kills, 605 digs, and 1,133 assists.
Coach of the Year:
Heidi Dawson, Garfield
Garfield lost to Randolph in the sectional playoffs for the second straight season, however, it went 20-8, and was a perfect 8-0 in the NJIC-American division. In two seasons as head coach, Dawson has a record of 41-18.
