Building Glen Rock High School’s boys basketball program has been a tedious process for head coach Jason Mittelman, but the hard work is starting to pay off.
Just recently, the Panthers made it all the way to the third round of the county tournament before losing to a tough Teaneck opponent. Getting to that game symbolizes how much effort Mittelman has put into the team.
“For me as a coach, the thing I’ve been trying to do here is build and develop a program,” Mittelman said. “We’re trying to keep Glen Rock kids interested in basketball and build the interest up for the youth.”
