Blayze Conte, St. Mary (Ruth.), Sr., P/INF
It’s been a tremendous season for Blayze Conte on both sides of the ball. This past he week, he twirled 10 strikeouts in five scoreless frames in the win over Rutherford.Conte now has a 1.24 ERA in 17 innings this year. At the plate, he is 6-for-9 in his last three games with nine RBIs, two doubles, and a home run. Overall, he is batting .382 this season alongside 12 RBIs and five extra-base hits.
Chris Gioia, Rutherford, Sr., P/OF
Gioia produced the 200th strikeout of his career on April 19 at Paramus. As part of the 2-1 win, he fired nine K’s in four innings to bring his season total to 25. At the plate this spring, Gioia is a .370 hitter with 16 runs, nine stolen bases, and eight walks.
