Noah Ampudia, Saddle Brook, So., P/UTL
Ampudia got the job done on both sides of the ball to help Saddle Brook to a 3-1 start.
At the plate, he went 9-for-14 with a double in all four contests. Ampudia also reeled in five RBIs and six runs scored.
He’s pitched in two games, which saw the Falcons tally the victory each time. Ampudia has combined for eight innings, 10 strikeouts, and two earned runs,
Anthony Carrea, Midland Park, Sr., P/2B
Carrea fired a complete-game shutout in a tight 1-0 win over Leonia on April 1, striking out 13 batters.
In three games at the plate this season, Carrea has three stolen bases, four runs, three walks, two doubles, and one RBI as Midland Park is off to a solid 3-0 start in the standings.
