FIRST TEAM

Jeremy Rivera

Harrison senior setter

The 28-3 Blue Tide posted the highest win total in North Jersey thanks in part to this repeat selection, who led the area in assists with 695. Rivera led Harrison to its third consecutive Hudson County crown and the NJIC National title, ending with 1,280 career assists and 90 aces (41 this spring).

 

Ylan Tapper

Garfield senior outside hitter

The Boilermakers enjoyed a winning record in each of his four varsity seasons, following eight straight years under .500. Tapper led North Jersey with 436 kills and showed a strong all-around game (194 digs, 60 aces, 34 blocks) in powering the program to its first Bergen County championship.
