Congratulations to Emerson High School’s Cheyenne Bellerand on being accepted as a contestant in the high school girls shot put at the Annual Penn Relay Carnival. Bellerand was the New Jersey Indoor Shot Put State Champion and the Eastern States Champion. Her event will take place at Franklin Field on Thursday, April 24th at 3:45pm.
Seth Zuidema, from Midland Park High School has been accepted to compete in the boys javelin throw. During the 2013 outdoor season, he was the NJIC Patriot Division, Bergen County, and N1 Group 1 State Sectional champion in this event. He was runner up at the Group-1 State Meet. His event will take place at Franklin Field on Friday, April 25th at 2:00pm.
The NJIC wishes both athletes the best of luck in this prestigious competition.
