Cheyene Chmielowiec-Falone, Garfield, QB, Jr.
The junior signal-caller threw three touchdown passes and 165 yards through the air to lead Garfield to a 19-6 victory over Pompton Lakes on May 4. It’s the first time in Chmielowiec-Falone’s career that she has thrown three touchdown passes in a game.
Lyndsay Gilbert, North Arlington, RB/S, Sr.
Gilbert dialed up a career night in Ridgefield on April 30 to help North Arlington score its third win of the season. The senior tailback tallied 97 yards on the ground with two scores, while also hauling a touchdown pass from quarterback Alyssa Sousa in the victory.
Emma Marnik, Lyndhurst, WR/DB, Jr.
Marnik recorded her first touchdown reception of the season and returned an interception for a touchdown on defense to lead Lyndhurst to a 32-6 victory over Ridgefield on May 5. The junior also recorded eight total flag pulls in the victory.
Natalia Poweska, Wallington, QB/LB, Sr.
Wallington’s signal-caller has thrown six touchdown passes with two rushing scores over the last three games to propel the Panthers to 4-3 on the season. Poweska threw a season-high four touchdown passes and ran for a score on May 4 during the team’s victory over North Arlington. The senior also now has 33 total flag pulls this season for the Panthers.
