North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Ashley Campos, WR/DB, Wallington, Jr.
It was a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown by Campos that started Wallington’s run to a 13-0 victory over North Arlington on May 6. Campos finished with seven total flag pulls in the victory, recording three of her tackles behind the line of scrimmage. The junior captured her first interception of the season during the team’s win over Paterson Arts on May 1.
Elanna Henry, WR/DB, Garfield, Jr.
Henry threw a 29-yard touchdown pass, rushed for 130 yards and two scores, and got her first interception this spring during the team’s 32-7 victory over Hawthorne on May 6. The junior added 83 yards rushing and a touchdown the following day against Pompton Lakes.
