David Ciliento Jr., Wood-Ridge, Fr., QB
Ciliento Jr. has filled the Blue Devils’ starting role seamlessly through three games. Wood-Ridge is 3-0 following its 42-14 win over St. Mary (Ruth.) this past week. Ciliento Jr. led with five total touchdowns, including four through the air. He threw for 360 yards, which brought him to 778 for the season. He has thrown eight touchdowns and run for one more through three contests.
Shane Crudele, North Arlington, Sr., QB
Crudele delivered four touchdowns in North Arlington’s 41-6 home win over Secaucus on Saturday. The senior completed 4-of-6 passes for 60 yards and two touchdowns to go with a rushing line of 3-115-2. It’s the first win for head coach first-year head coach Kip Finley. It’s also just the second win for the Vikings since the 2023 season and first since the finale of the 2024 campaign.
Luciano Mayer, Waldwick/Midland Park, Jr., RB
In an impressive 41-7 victory over Glen Rock this past week, Mayer led the Warriors with 216 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Mayer has been a consistent presence, scoring a pair of touchdowns in Waldwick/Midland Park’s first three games of the season. Through three contests, he has rushed for 473 yards, bringing him to 1,525 for his career.
Zachary Pokoj, Wallington, So., QB
Wallington is 2-1 for the first time since 2022 thanks to Pokoj’s leadership. This past week, he marched the Panthers to a 27-14 win over Bogota. He scored three total touchdowns (one passing, two rushing) alongside generating 209 yards offense. This season, Pokoj has found the end zone six times.
Patrick Randolph, Park Ridge, Sr., RB
After missing the opening two games of the season, Randolph returned with conviction. He led the Owls to its first win of the 2026 campaign, rushing for 179 yards on 10 carries with two touchdowns over Weehawken. Last season, Randolph was a force, tallying 1,002 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns. With him back on the gridiron, Park Ridge (1-2) is eager to get back to .500 in the standings.
