Manchester Regional ran for 390 yard and six touchdowns on its way to a wild comeback win over Lodi on Saturday. Manchester scored 28 unanswered points in the second half to complete the comeback and win on the road, 48-43, after Lodi led at the half, 35-20. Garcia, the team’s captain and a two-way lineman, led the way up front as the Falcons averaged over eight yards per carry and netted over 500 yards of offense. Garcia added seven tackles defensively to help Manchester pick up its first win.

Trevor Ludwig, Park Ridge, LB, Sr.

In a defensive game, Ludwig recorded 10 tackles and two critical interceptions Friday when Park Ridge defeated Hasbrouck Heights, 14-7. Hasbrouck Heights entered Friday’s game undefeated and ranked No. 1 in the NJIC before Park Ridge pulled off the upset win by holding the Aviators to one second-quarter touchdown.Football
