Any March Madness enthusiast knows that the matchup between the No. 5 seed and the No. 12 seed is always ripe for an upset, and for most of the first half Tuesday it looked like the underdog Cedar Grove Panthers girls team could play in to that narrative.
Unfortunately No. 5 Hasbrouck Heights hit two 3-pointers in the final minute of the second quarter to open up a six-point lead, a margin Cedar Grove was never able to overcome.
