Here are the Players of the Week in the North Jersey Interscholastic Conference 

THE STARTING FIVE: PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Ella Marchesani, Saddle Brook, Sr.

The senior, who leads the NJIC in points, is averaging 22.2 points for Saddle Brook. She scored a season-high 31 points in a win over McNair on Dec. 27, then scored 29 points in a win over Indian Hills on Thursday as Saddle Brook improved to 7-1 and 4-0 in the American Division.

Katie Reiner, Becton, So.

Reiner leads Becton with 18.6 points and 2.5 steals per game, and is also contributing 4.7 rebounds a game. She has scored in double figures in all but one game, and scored a season-high 33 points in a win over Wood-Ridge on Dec. 20 as Becton is 5-3 and 3-1 in the Meadowlands Division.

Allie Shenloogian, Park Ridge, So.

The sophomore leads Park Ridge with 21.2 points and 4.2 steals per game, and is also contributing 2.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists. She scored a career-high 30 points in a win over Becton on Dec. 29 and has scored over 20 points in five games this season.

Faith Williamson, Saddle River Day, So.

Williamson is averaging a team-leading 15.7 points and 5.2 rebounds a game for Saddle River Day. She scored a season-high 23 points in a loss to Msgr. Scanlan (NY) on Dec. 18 and 21 points in a win over Cresskill on Wednesday as Saddle River Day improved to 6-2 and 3-0 in the conference.

Erin Fahy, Cresskill, Jr.

Fahy leads Cresskill averaging 18.4 points and 11.7 rebounds a game. She has posted five double-doubles this season with a season-high 27 points in a win over Park Ridge on Dec. 17. She pulled down a season-high 18 rebounds in a loss to Saddle River Day on Wednesday.
