Julie Carey made 10 free throws and finished with 27 points to lead fifth-seeded Midland Park past 13th-seeded Waldwick, 60-39, in the quarterfinals of the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 playoffs, in Midland Park.

Thalia Ghalam added 15 points for Midland Park, which outscored Waldwick 30-14 in the first half.

Grace D’Annibale led Waldwick with 16 points.
