North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Katie Reiner, Becton, Jr.
Reiner finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds in a loss to Indian Hills, then contributed 23 points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists in a win over Bogota. In a loss to Secaucus she recorded 14 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, then totaled 23 points and six rebounds in a loss to Glen Rock.
Ruby Silva, Manchester Regional, Sr.
The senior recorded 18 points, six rebounds and two blocks in a loss to Bergenfield, then finished with 13 points, 12 rebounds and two blocks in a win over Wallington. She posted her sixth double-double of the season with 26 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Paterson Charter.
Alyssa Craigwell, Secaucus, Sr.
Craigwell finished with 27 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in a win over Becton, then posted her 11th double-double of the season with 24 points and 12 rebounds as Secaucus won the NJIC Tournament title.
