Alyssa Craigwell, Secaucus, So.
Craigwell has played a vital role for a Secaucus team that was dealing with a number of injuries before the season started. And Craigwell had another good week, averaging 21.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and five steals per game.
Meghan Docherty, Lyndhurst, Sr.
Docherty is a big reason why Lyndhurst has won four consecutive games, including three this past week. She averaged 16.3 points, four rebounds and 3.3 steals per game. Against Leonia, Docherty scored a game-high 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds and recorded five steals.
Nya Duran, Elmwood Park, Sr.
Duran had a big week for Elmwood Park, averaging 20.7 points, helping her team in wins over Cliffside Park, Hawthorne and Manchester Regional. In a 61-48 win over Cliffside Park in the Bergen County Invitational, Duran scored a game-high 30 points.
Destiney Ndio, Lodi, Sr.
It’s been a tough season for Lodi so far, but this past week was among the best this season as the Rams went 2-1 with Ndio leading the way. She averaged 20.7 points and 21.3 rebounds per game as Lodi picked up wins over Harrison and Manchester Regional before a setback against Pompton Lakes.
Devon Sonzogni, Hasbrouck Heights, Sr.
Sonzogni has been solid all year long for a Hasbrouck Heights team that is currently 15-1. Sonzogni averaged 17 points and 6.5 rebounds per game as the Aviators defeated Weehawken and Wood-Ridge. She scored a game-high 25 points in the win over Wood-Ridge.
