The starting 5 – Players of the Week

 

Allie Shenloogian, Park Ridge, So.

The sophomore finished with 16 points, five steals, five assists and four rebounds in a loss to Dwight-Englewood, then totaled 19 points, five steals, four rebounds and two assists in win over Westwood. In a loss to Newtown (CT) she contributed 15 points, 15 rebounds, three assists and three steals, then posted her second double-double of the season with 19 points, 14 rebounds, four steals and three assists in a win over Midland Park.

Arlenny Medina, Elmwood Park, Sr.

Medina finished with 12 points in a win over Mary Help of Christians, then scored 14 points in a win over Garfield as Elmwood Park extended its win streak to five-straight games.

Natalia Valdez, Dwight-Englewood, Fr.

The freshman recorded 11 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals in a win over Park Ridge, then finished with 13 points and seven rebounds in a loss to Saddle River Day. In a win over Bogota she posted a career-high 19 points and added eight rebounds and three steals.

Cristina Parrella, Saddle River Day, Jr

Parrella finished with 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals in a win over Trenton Catholic, then posted 19 points and two assists in a win against Dwight-Englewood. In a win over Trinity Hall, she recorded 12 points, four rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Victoria Sterinsky, Emerson Boro, Sr.

Sterinsky finished with 15 points, four rebounds and three steals in a win over New Milford, then posted 13 points, four rebounds and two assists in a win against Bergen Charter.
