The first week of the high school girls soccer season is always a whirlwind – full of breakout stars, unpredictability and just enough results to start shaping the landscape.
Of course, rankings in September are snapshots, not verdicts. Injuries, schedule strength and roster development will all play a role in reshaping the board over the coming weeks. But for now, the teams at the top have earned their place, and the chase is officially on.
