North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Forward: Victoria Drotos, Wood-Ridge, Sr.
The senior scored five goals and had an assist in a win over Ridgefield. Drotos is having a career year and already has 14 goals for Wood-Ridge. This is the second time this season that Drotos has scored four or more goals in a game this season.
Midfielder: Paige Quiones, Secaucus, Sr.
The senior had a goal in a big win over Dwight-Englewood this week. Quiones and Nicole Parise each scored in that game and then both players followed up with two score apiece against Ridgefield.
Defender: Jillian Luftman, Glen Rock, Sr
Luftman did a great job guarding the best offensive player in the league last week. The senior also helped her team pick up a win over Lodi, playing strong defense and tacking on one goal and an assist. Glen Rock then went out and shut out Hasbrouck Heights.
