FIRST TEAM All-North Jersey
Iris Kim
Leonia/Palisades Park sophomore, 200 freestyle
After moving from Cresskill to Leonia this past year, Kim turned in a stellar debut on the high school level by setting team, conference and county meet records in the 200 and 500 freestyles. At the state Meet of Champions, she finished third and second, respectively, in the distance events.
Rebekah Jung
Leonia/Palisades Park junior, open
The Palisades Park native was a major reason why the Lions stayed on top of the NJIC and raced to Bergen County gold in the 200 freestyle relay. She did her best work in the backstroke and individual medley, winning both at the conference meet and medaling them on the state and county levels.
Leonia/Palisades Park
200 freestyle relay
The Lions took this race in both the conference and county meets and used the same quartet both times. Rebekah Jung, Isabelle Yoo, Sophie Dahiya and Iris Kim provided the winning formula.
