  NJIC athletes selected 2023 All State / All Group Girls Track and Field

 

1st Team All-State

Pole vault: Emma Keating, Pompton Lakes, Sr.

Keating capped her high school pole vaulting career in phenomenal fashion. The Rutgers pledge won six times, including title defenses at sectionals, groups and the M of Cs. It’s her third-consecutive M of Cs gold dating back to her junior outdoor season. Keating hit a N.J. No. 1 PR 13-0 in this month’s win at the M of Cs. She was one of only five in N.J. to top the 12-foot mark. She cleared better than 12 feet a handful of times and no worse than 11-6.

2nd Team All-State

400: Kylie Castillo, Ridgefield, Jr.

Castillo in a matter of weeks went from one of Group 1s best sprinters to one of N.J.’s best. She ran six open 400s this season and won four of them. She won at the NJIC Division Championships (57.56), Bergen County Championships (56.58), sectionals (57.9) and groups (57.87). Castillo finished third at the county M of Cs and then capped her junior year with a PR 55.43 to place second at the M of Cs.

  • Triple jump: Gaea DePass, Hasbrouck Heights, Sr.
  • Pole vault: Kaitlyn Legaspi, Emerson Boro, Sr.
  • Javelin: Jenna O’Malley, Hasbrouck Heights, Sr.
  • Shot put: Elliot Eddy, Hasbrouck Heights, Jr.

 

ALL-GROUP 1 / 2nd TEAM

  • 400: Olivia Passero, Hawthorne, Fr.
  • 800: Danielle Tilp, Cresskill, Sr.
  • 100 hurdles: Fibianna Ajetunmobi, New Milford, Jr.
  • 400 hurdles: Ella Eitner, Waldwick, Sr.
  • 4×400: Hasbrouck Heights
  • High jump: Olyvia Burrell, Emerson Boro, Jr.

 

ALL-GROUP 1 / 3rd TEAM

  • 1,600: Amandine Fernandez, Bogota, Sr.
  • 400 hurdles: Dea Jera, Hasbrouck Heights, Sr.
  • 4×800: Hasbrouck Heights
  • Javelin: Maria Manis, Hasbrouck Heights, Sr.
  • Shot put: Alyssa Craigwell, Secaucus, Jr.

 

ALL-GROUP 2 / 1st TEAM

  • Long jump: Julia Tozduman, Lyndhurst, Jr.
  • Pole vault: Emma Keating, Pompton Lakes, Sr.

 

ALL-NON-PUBLIC / 3rd TEAM

  • Triple jump: Raegan Bossard, Lodi Immaculate, Jr.
