FIRST TEAM ALL-STATE

Sofia Guzman, Secaucus, Sr.

Led Secaucus to first Group 1 state championship since 2014 and 20th all-time … NJIC Player of the Year … Second time on the the All-State team … Four-year starter with three Hudson County championships, two sectional titles, and one state title … Posted a career-high 24 kills in both the section final against Verona and the state championship against Raritan … Snared six double-doubles and a dozen 10-plus kill games … Collected 287 kills, 266 digs, 32 aces, 14 assists, and six blocks in 2025 … Graduates with 822 career digs, 760 kills, 150 aces, 34 assists, and 15 blocks.

 

SECOND TEAM ALL-STATE

Olivia Jasiczek, Secaucus, Sr.

Collected 284 kills, 50 digs, 39 aces, 34 blocks, three assists this season … Won the Group 1 state championship … Is a three-time Hudson County champion and two-time section champion … Produced 13 double-digit kill matches this year … Clocked five three-plus block games … Graduates with 792 career kills, 163 blocks, 139 aces, 129 digs, 13 assists … First time on the All-State team.

#5-Secaucus (29-2)

The Patriots collected their state-best 20th state title this season, downing Raritan 3-0 in the Group 1 final. It was Secaucus’ first state championship since 2014. Secaucus also won the Hudson County Tournament and the N2G1 sectional bracket, totaling four ranked wins. The Patriots registered 21 straight wins to close out the 2025 campaign.

#20-Bogota (22-5)

Bogota was a major part in making the N2G1 bracket one of the toughest in the state this season. They grabbed a set from Verona in the semifinals, and 18 of their wins came in straight sets.
