Congratulations to the Glen Rock Tennis Team
Glen Rock showed why it was the top seed in North 1, Group 1 with a 5-0 victory in the sectional final over No. 3 seed and previously-unbeaten Kittatinny. The Panthers had straight-set victories in all five flights, including wins by Matt Shulkin (first singles), Jason Kapiloff (second singles), Andrei Mircea (third singles) and the team of Gonzalo Aldaz and Ryan Burke (first doubles).
The second doubles duo of Guillermo Aldaz and Nirvan Chandiramani completed the sweep with a 6-3, 6-2 victory at second doubles.
Glen Rock returns to the top of North 1, Group 1 following a loss in the sectional final to Mountain Lakes in 2019. The Panthers will return to the group semifinals for the first time since 2018, when they lost in the Group 1 final, also to Mountain Lakes.
