BERGENFIELD – Behind a terrific performance by senior Amit Yona, No. 15 seed Tenafly beat No. 18 Dwight-Englewood, 87-75, in the first round of the 59th Bergen Jamboree, played at Bergenfield High School Jan. 31.
“Anytime you get selected to the Jamboree and play in a game like this,” said Tigers first-year head coach Jeff Koehler, “it’s always an awesome thing. I’m proud of these guys. They did an awesome job.”
