GLEN ROCK – Losing large leads in the final quarter can be devastating to a team’s composure. Glen Rock saw a three-goal fourth period lead turn into a one-goal deficit late in its matchup with Waldwick.
The Panthers did not let it affect their effort, and thanks to a couple of good plays by Griffin Meyers and a fortuitous penalty in the final minute, pulled out a 9-8 boys lacrosse win Saturday.
The victory put Glen Rock at 3-2 and matched its win total of last year, when the Panthers went 3-14 after a 0-11 start. Waldwick suffered its first loss after two wins.
