Best Assets: Kevin Zacharias returns at center midfield to lead a senior class that is large but not loaded with experience. Still, the group is versatile with players able to play multiple positions. Juniors Christian D’Angelo and Chris Lombardo return to anchor the back line that the Lions hope will be a strength against the likes of big-time offenses like Harrison and Wallington this season.
Biggest concerns: With the graduations of Nikola Nikoloski and Fitzroy Walsh, the Lions could be scrounging to score goals this season. But they did have a good summer, going 2-2 at the Bergen s Best Tournament at Ramapo and playing well in the Cliffside Park summer league.
