Last year’s record; final ranking: 9-3; No. 12

Marquee game:  Oct. 4 vs. Saddle Brook

Best Assets:  This team has learned how to win and seems hungry for more. The Tigers have some outstanding skill players, including a Division I prospect in junior QB Adeyemi Da Silva. Mike Hill, a 6-foot-4, 280pound senior, is another Division I prospect and one of the best offensive linemen in North Jersey. Senior RB Taj Huggins has been an All-Division selection at three different positions. Seniors Robert Then and Malik St. Hilaire, who has an offer from Army, are the backbone of what should be a strong secondary. With most of the best players seniors, this is definitely a team built for now.

Biggest concerns:
The Tigers had seven starters graduate from a defense that allowed more than 20 points only three times last season. How quickly the new faces fit in and learn their roles will go a long way toward deciding this team’s fate. Depth will be an issue. The Tigers have to guard against being complacent after last season’s march to the North 2, Group 3 title game.
