Junior tailback Marcus Marson rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries, including a 12-yard score in the fourth quarter that put Palisades Park/Leonia ahead two scores Saturday in an eventual 21-15 victory over Manchester in Haledon.
Senior quarterback JoJo Robinson also rushed for 45 yards and ran for a 2-yard score in the second quarter for the Tigers (1-1), who snapped a nine-game losing streak that dated back to last Sept. 27.
Palisades Park/Leonia’s win was also former St. Mary defensive coordinator Mike Coyne’s first as the Tigers’ head coach.
