POMPTON LAKES — A Hail Mary wasn’t necessary this time.

A year after an incredible, game-winning touchdown pass on the last play propelled Pompton Lakes to the North 1, Group 1 championship game, the Cardinals easily qualified for their third straight sectional final Saturday.
