MIDLAND PARK — For Midland Park, the beat goes on. And on. And so does the Rebecca Rabeiro, Nicole Cartaino and Amanda Parker show.

Sparked by its three seniors, Midland Park earned a 49-39 victory over Verona in the North 1, Group 1 championship game Tuesday night. It was the second straight sectional championship for the Panthers.

Rabeiro scored a game-high 19 points and added 10 steals and four assists, Cartaino dominated inside with 18 points and 14 rebounds and Parker had eight rebounds and five steals for top-seeded Midland Park (25-2).
