GLEN ROCK – Glen Rock tennis coach Bonnie Zimmerman remembers her exact words after finding out the school was getting brand-new courts.

“I said, ‘I’ll believe it when I see it,’ ” Zimmerman said and laughed.

Thursday, Glen Rock’s girls team continued christening its beautiful five-court facility along Kirkwood Place by topping Cresskill in the state North 1, Group I semifinals, 5-0.

For the first time, Glen Rock will host a state championship match when the top-seeded Panthers meet No. 2 Leonia next week, seeking their first crown since 2000.
