Jake Rollins laughs at the notion that his 300 game in Wednesday’s state singles bowling tournament final was sort of the equivalent of a pitcher throwing a perfect game to clinch the World Series.
But nobody could have been more focused than the Glen Rock senior that day at Carolier Lanes in North Brunswick.
Only afterward, when Rollins was watching some video his friends took of his final two strikes, did he realize that he had narrowed his whole universe to the 60 feet separating him and the head pin.
