PAL PARK 1, WEEHAWKEN 0: Freshman midfielder Yeison Puluc scored off an assist from sophomore striker David Valencia in the first half to lead Palisades Park past Weehawken, 1-0, in an NJIC interdivisional boys soccer game Monday.The Tigers earned their first win of the season.Sophomore goalie Juan Ruiz made seven saves to earn the shutout for Palisades Park (1-10-1).Valencia leads the Tigers, a young team with only three seniors and two juniors, with nine goals this season. Palisades Park had tied Weehawken on Sept. 12.
CRESSKILL 2, EMERSON 1 (at Cresskill): Senior forward Zac Garcia and senior midfielder Nate Dvorozniak each scored a goal in the second half as the Cougars squeaked by in an NJIC Patriot Division game.
PARK RIDGE 1, ELMWOOD PARK 0 (at Park Ridge): Junior forward James Pigot scored off an assist from senior Dan DiBlasi in the first half to power the Owls in a Bergen Cup first-round game.
RUTHERFORD 4, EASTERN CHRISTIAN 3 (at North Haledon): Senior midfielder Jack Cairns scored two goals and had an assist, and William Thomas had one goal and one assist for the Bulldogs in an NJIC Colonial Division game.
HASBROUCK HEIGHTS 5, BECTON 0 (at East Rutherford): Ervin Gjeli and Marco Sampson had two goals apiece to help the No. 22 Aviators in an NJIC Meadowlands Division game.
WALLINGTON 7, ST. MARY 0 (at Rutherford): Senior Damian Agaj scored three goals and senior defender Pawel Kasica scored a pair of goals to help the No. 10-ranked Panthers.
POMPTON LAKES 6, MANCHES TER 0 (at Pompton Lakes): Senior forward Miguel Almazan scored two goals and had an assist as the Cardinals prevailed in an NJIC Colonial Division game.
LODI 1, GLEN ROCK 0 (at Lodi): Junior midfielder Osama Mustafa scored off an assist from Daman veer Singh in the first half, and Mason Rivera made five saves to spark the Rams in an NJIC Colonial Division game.
