TOMS RIVER — It could be heard in the dugout, in team huddles and even in the hallways of Immaculate Conception.     For the Blue Wolves, three simple words — the team’s motto coined by freshman shortstop Gabby Fredette several weeks ago — have defined this group during their state tournament run.

“Respect the Squad.”

The respect Immaculate Conception coveted certainly earned was on Saturday, as the Blue Wolves captured their second straight Non-Public B state title with a 5-0 win over St. Joseph (Hammonton).

“The ‘Respect the Squad’ thing, I don’t know where it came from, but this group is off-the-walls, in a good way.
