LITTLE FALLS – Lea Georgatos was mad at herself. So she took it out on the ball.
An inning after her throw got away allowing Hudson Catholic to score the tying run, the Immaculate Conception senior ripped a bases-clearing double inside the third base bag as the Blue Wolves won their fifth North Non-Public B title in six years, 5-1, Wednesday.
They will go for their third straight state title when they face South champion St. Joseph of Hammonton in the Non-Public B final. That game will take place at Kean University either Friday or Saturday.
